Sieve for truth

Give me a knife

of steel

to cut to the quick;

to part the shadowy words

that cling together

in cowardly clusters.

A blade

that can cut into

the solidified mass

of falsehoods

that drift in the sea

of our communal consciousness.

A cutting edge

that will sever

the parasitic growth

of misconceptions and misrepresentations

on the branches

of our learning.

Give me a knife

to hold against

the grinning mask,

the mocking body,

he cloying voice

of information that is false.
